Working with a repeat client, Swinerton provided general contracting services for the new hotel addition at the existing Spokane Tribe Casino. The five-story post-tension concrete structure features new hotel rooms, including five corner suites, an indoor pool with a water feature, meeting rooms, and retail space. The new hotel ties into the existing casino, which required close coordination to maintain safety and minimize disruption to guests. This is the fifth project that Swinerton is completing at Spokane Tribe Casino.

Swinerton is providing general contracting services for the construction of Tipsy Pickle- an “eatertainment” venue in the Camp North End area of Charlotte. The 76-acre, mixed-use development brings nearly 40,000 square feet of dining, pickleball, and other hospitality amenities to its campus. A full-size commercial kitchen supports the restaurant, and three bars offer refreshments throughout the space. Sports enthusiasts can choose from four indoor and two outdoor courts with patio seating. An indoor gaming area includes two golf simulators, ping pong, arcade games, pool tables, tic tac toe, darts and shuffleboard. The venue also boasts a retail space where guests can browse pickleball gear and themed merchandise. An adaptive reuse build, the space previously functioned as a US Army weapon storage facility and as a Ford Motor Company manufacturing plant for Model T and Model A cars.

Swinerton provided general contracting services for Fin & Fino, including the renovation of the commercial kitchen, demolition and construction of the bar, the creation of an open concept dining area with banquette seating and remodel of the bathrooms. Located in Birkdale Village in North Charlotte, this seafood house is the second location for this dining concept and the seventh restaurant Swinerton has built for restauranteur Jon Dressler. The sophisticated décor celebrates the explorer’s mindset and the sailor’s heart with an ocean and maritime motif. A branded waterfall feature separates the main dining room from the bar, where mermaid-inspired tile design and seashell adorned light fixtures enhance the Mediterranean feel.

Dressler’s Chapter 6 is the sixth concept from Charlotte-based Rare Roots Hospitality and sits at the ground floor of The Line, a high-concept office tower with public green spaces and adjacency to the Rail Trail, a 3.5-mile public trail connecting Charlotte neighborhoods. The Chapter 6 menu serves-up small plates with Western Mediterranean influences and an emphasis on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, paired with a vibrant cocktail menu. The 8,000-sq. ft. dining space captures a sleek, modern Mediterranean aesthetic with roll-up doors that open to a patio overlooking the Rail Trail. A state-of-the-art kitchen inclusive of a chef’s table puts guests at the front lines of all the live action. The over $3 million project completed in time for late summer dining in Charlotte’s South End.

This 8,000-square-foot interior renovation in Uptown Charlotte included complete demolition of the existing space to create a new, upscale steakhouse. The focus was on interior and exterior modernization, creating a natural flow between the restaurant and plaza spaces. The interior upfit included key features such as swirling acoustical ceilings, upscale decorative lighting, custom millwork, and custom metal screen walls.
